After Market Exhaust?
Im planning on switching my NPP exhaust as it is not loud enough for me even with Kooks Headers. Can you guys recommend me any of the after market exhausts that will satisfy my needs? At the moment I am leaning towards CORSA but am willing to hear any other products. Thanks!

It took me two years to decide on an exhaust for mine. Unfortunately unless you hear the car in person it's so difficult to know what it will really sound like. I ended up going with the Stainless Works 1 7/8 headers and their 3" exhaust. It is amazing! Just my opinion. Also, I noticed that the video Stainless Works put up showing a ZL1 with their exhaust was as about as close as you could get if you put on a decent set of headphones.

I have headers and corsa on mine, sounds great although it doesn't fit everyones ear. It has more of a raspy sound than a rumble. I really like the corsa because you get absolutely zero drone

We carry several systems for the ZL1. The Corsa and Stainless Works systems seem to be our best sellers. Both are great systems. If you have the cash the B&B Fusion system is killer and will retain the NPP with their dual mode mufflers.

Our only ZL1-specific exhaust is the Street Series (part #15053), which might not be quite as loud as what the OP is looking for. Here was our dyno test with a '13 ZL1 to give you a bit of sound and a look at the dyno chart:
We do, however, make a mandrel-bent muffler delete that will definitely get people's attention if you need volume. It's an axle-back for the 5G Camaro in general and I haven't found any clips of it on a ZL1, but it rips pretty well on this SS: |

I have had no issues with drone on mine. It's pretty mellow when you are just cruising and then all hell breaks loose when you put it to work. I would recommend it to anyone.
