wiring dual color halo lights.
Hello everyone.
This my first post, I am new here. I was wondering if someone could help me with wiring my dual colored halo light to an on off on switchon my 2012 1ls. I believe what I have to do is wire each ground to one sode of the switch, the positive to the middle and splice another positive to go to a 12v fuse. I do not know how to get the wires from the headlights into the interior of the car though. Can someone please help? And also if I am in correct on the wiring please correct me. Thamk you |

you are not correct on the wiring.
Hot (positive) to the center of the switch and one positive from each led to the other 2 terminals on the switch. all grounds together and bonded to the frame. |

But then how do the halos know which color to change? The halo lights have 3 wires coming out, 1 pos and 2 neg. Each neg is commected to a different color.

it that case I would think you need to ground the switch.
that is negative to the center and then the negative leads from each LED to the other terminals. Did you not get instructions with the kit? |

It took me 30 minutes of guess and check but I ended up buying a different switch if I remember correctly..
