mmr 5.0 150 shot vs cam 5th gen

mmr built long block, long tubes headers, boss intake and tb. 150 shot , 15" DR
all the normal boltons 3.31 gear.

vs

lg g6x3 cam , obx long tubes, rotofab, magnaflow catback, 18" DR 300 lbs of weight reduction
i pulled about 4 cars on it at a arm drop race before. i have spray but we were workin on all motor passes. tryin to see what we gained from weight reductions

A forged MMR block just for a 150 shot? You can do that on a stock Coyote with the right tune.

Seems slow for the mods that 5.0 has, a bolton coyote is around 11.20-10.90s N/A.

Are you a M6 or A6? Nice trap speeds

Ya we both were slow it was cold track . He ended up with a 11.1 . Da was about 1500 2000 Thur out the day. I'm a m6 so was he. Track had a 4 ton truck break down/wreck and clouldnt get it off the track so I left. I think with a good 60 and good air I'll be 11.0 - 11.2

Ya 5.0 run that but we r just guys that go to the track 2 times a year maybe . We do a lot of non prep arm drop stuff

Man with that built block and only spraying a 150 shot is like taking your girl home getting completley naked then just deciding to cuddle to be safe.

u cant spray a plate much over 150-200 anyway. u can but its not very effective. plus no race gas . so 150 is all he is gonna spray. hes building a fox ls3 car atm so this car is on th eback burner. if he did spray a 200+ shot he would have to go direct port or nozzle. u got to have a dedicated fuel cell to run a 200 shot or need to anyway.
the fastest stock 5.0 there was 13.2 . if that gives u guys a ideal of what the track was like. usally they run 13.0 fairly common. track just wasnting hooking verywell.

but hes sprayin more then most lol . usally ppl telling him to spray a 200 hit wont spray there car with a 100. its alot diff when its ur stuff . easy to tell someone to spray a big shot.
