Raspier and more popping.... you have to swap the mufflers to get rid of that... I just did headers no cats and im not a fan of the sound ether. It does sound tough when you are on it shifting threw the gears. Like a NASCAR. not it does not sound good to my any other time. I am going to by some cats and see how that changes it. I hope to just make it a little quieter at least. (I dont want to take off the stock mufflers)

Does anyone have the part number? I do not want a header that I have to smash or crimp one of the tubes to fit around a motor mount or anything like that. Want a clean installation. Seems there are several vendors that say 2010 - 2013 SS and ZL1.

Maryland Speed sold me mine and they had to be smashed. I was not happy but obviously no posts from them to me after they were sold to me.

I installed the Stainless Power 17/8" with cats about 2 months ago and no problems. Paid $746 delivered.

I'm in the market for headers too. Did any of these manufactures fix the belly pan trimming? Just seems kinda weird to me why someone would want to modify a part to "work" right.

There is not enough room between the pan and body to squeeze long tubes. Cutting the pan is required. No way around it unless you have a convertible.

You do not have to cut the belly pan with Pfadt Tri-Y headers. Feel free to call, PM or email me with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Check out this thread that I just saw: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=310183

Looks like there is a way around it.

Thanks Tyler, I just saw that thread above that I linked to that confirms your statement. I gotta get some headers in a month or so. Gonna take a serious look at these. Hadn't heard of them.

Yeah they are fairly new to hit the market for the Camaro, but the Corvette guys have been using them for sometime now. Definitely some high quality headers! We have hands on experience installing them as well, so if you have any questions feel free to ask!
