Which is the best oil for the V8?
I need to go get an oil change tomorrow. Im running at 6269 miles. Which oil should I put in in?

For a top oil that meets GM suggested requirements, I recommend Pennzoil Ultra 5w30. You can find it in 5 quart jugs at your local Walmart. However, other oils may work just as well.

GM says Mobil-1 5-30W synthetic, they designed it why question this?

Unless you're running a built motor with huge stresses, I would stay with the mobile 1. The manufacturer uses it, and tested the motor with it...

Pennzoil Ultra.
And the reason why GM recommends mobil-1 is because mobil-1 payed for them to recommend it.
