2014 1le/rs weight

I thought the 1le was supposed to be in the 3900lb range? Mine is showing 4400ish. I just happened to look at it this afternoon. Just wondering if mine has been sneaking snacks in the middle of the night...

They weight 3850-3950 lbs. You either had extra junk on board or a really badly calibrated scale, lol.

The GVWR is counting the maximum load recommended (gross weight).

The door sticker on mine says 4644 or something around there. Comes out to just about 3900 pounds when you subtract the 732 pound payload allowance.

Ah gotchya. You're right. It does say gross rating. Would help if I looked at it just a few seconds longer. Lol

On RIDETECH scales my 2010 SS weighs 3835 with about a half a tank of gas. Gas weighs roughly 7 pounds per gallon so I guess that includes roughly 60 pounds of gas. That is with ZL1 size tires and wheels and stainless exhaust system and a 12 inch sub so not too bad really.
