My track times zl1 2014 manual 6 speed stock tires

What do y'all think of my time

80 degree night

25 minute cool down

Mods are

Cat delete like I gutted the oem cats
And a jlt cold air
160 degree thermostat

On the 12.0 run the car spun a little off the line and going into 2nd it hopped a little

Wanna hear some opnions

Also I tuned the car myself

Car was tuning about 24 or 25 degrees of timing and a 11.76 afr ratio

Stock run was made after a 2 hour cool down the 12.0 was after a 25 min cool down

First pass correct
2083 ft above sea level
12.266 @ 115.899

Second pass corrected
2222 ft above sea level
11.903 @ 120.437

I always figure the DA on my own. If you have a smart phone there are a couple apps that you just plug in the weather/ Altitude info and it gives you the DA

If you know the track, date, and times of the passes you can get the DA from here:
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

Without knowing the difference in the DA between the two passes, you can't judge the effectiveness of the mods and tune.
How do you know you were at an 11.76 afr? You are using a wideband I assume?

I've looked around on some of the threads and I may have missed it but does anyone know what suspension mode a ZL 1 is in when all nannies are turned off?
Also, some folks recommend launching in PTM 5 using launch control but even though PTM 5 has traction control and stability turned off (judging from the lights on the dash) it still controls wheel spin to some degree - right? 2014 ZL 1 M6

Nice runs. I think I will try to deflate my tires at 17 psi as well. Fastest I ran my car was 12.5 @ 116 mph. That's with doing nothing to the tires and feathering at 3000 rpm. I have a cold air intake and a diablo tune. How long of a burn out do you guys do?

corrected times are not exactly accurate. Just post the actual e.t/mph and the DA and we can calculate the e.t. Just as a positive DA slows you down, a negative DA speeds you up and I doubt many people have corrected in that direction for an e.t./mph post. Yes, I see your posts of the actual slips but the "corrected" e.t. is not necessary.
