What does it mean?
Order# NTQQXX
Status: (1100) Preliminary order accepted Notes: None Last Update(s) March 3, 2010 - Current February 25, 2010 - (1100) Preliminary order accepted ---------------------------------------------------- Does it mean that the dealer ordered on Feb 25, 2010?? Actually I signed it up on Feb 4, 2010. So, I'm wondering if he ordered late. |

The dealer entered the order in the system on the 25th. When its accepted by GM it will go to 2000. Then get ready for the real fun. Until it goes 2000 nothing really happens.

In my sig it shows 1100 on May 18th. I actually placed the order on Sat. the 15th. So the order did not officially exsist until the 18th. It's exactly as it states. February 25, 2010 - (1100) Preliminary order accepted

It's not necessarily the date the order was input...mine doesn't match either, in my case it shows the date the info was pulled by CamaroTracking. They pull the info once a week, usually Wed night and it'll post Wed night or Thursday morning. My first status (1100) was posted as of Thurs morning like yours was.

I think it has to do with dealers having allocation i ordered mine 2/6. i did not go into 2000 until 2/23. I talked with the person who does purchases on 2/22 and he said that would be the day that the dealer would give my order "allocation" basically i think it means thats when they pay GM. My TPW is 3/8.

By the way, you can also use the tracking thread to enlist the help of one of the dealers who frequent the forum. They can pull your status real time, as can your dealer I imagine. This coming week is my TPW, so I'll be inquiring daily until it's built. At that point I think CamaroTracking.com will give you daily updates vs weekly.

Dealer didn't actually enter your order into OrderWORKBENCH until Feb 25th. They have not tagged it with available allocation yet (has nothing to do with "paying for it"). Simply, as of the last c-track update, the dealer didn't have any alotment from Chevrolet to order the car against. Each dealer only gets so many cars and currently they had no availability to actually get one into the production schedule at Chevy. The dealer could order 5000 cars if they wanted but 4920 of them may stay at event code 1100 pretty much forever. You need to find out when your car will be tagged using available allocation. Keep in mind that it very well could have been tagged in the past few days since c-track only updates once a week until your car is actually produced.
