Old thread but yup, i could not get better than a lousy 13.7 on stock Pirelli p zeros. The 5.0 is all around a faster car than our ss's (at least in stock form).

IIRC I did 13.1-2@110.8 with a CAI. On a good track and good launch 12.8-9 are totally possible. My 0-60ft was 2.2 ..a 1.9sec would do wonders!
Just look at the 0-60ft of the Mustangs, youll see why they are faster on the strip.

Mustang Autos 5.0's are 12.6.12.8 usually even in shitty hot weather may get a 13.0 flat. This gen mustang is the "ls1" of the times so to speak. Boltons, and tune on a 5.0 auto is an 11 sec car.

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I just came back from my first run on a track - ever. It was fun. I made 4 runs and my quickest time was 13.1. I'm pretty much stock except the solo axle-back exhaust with Jpipes and an airraid CAI. I ran with General G-MAX tires and did not do burn outs before any of my runs.

I ran 13.1 @ 109mph bone stock, stock everything with 600kms on the ODO and +800da 2 weeks after buying my LS3 SS new in July 2012.
