From the looks of that license plate, it will protect the whole car from almost any front end collision! LOL

Hello everyone.
The car on the pictures - the car you are talking about - is my car.
Here are some answers to your assumptions:
The car is not available oficially in Austria/Europe. It is imported from the US.
The parking sensors are aftermarket sensors - front sensors and rear sensors.
The reason why I did install them was already mentioned here. They are very helpful if you paralell-park. You have to do this very often here in Austria.
They are not required in Austria.
Big Austrian front license plates are a problem. On my car the bracket for US-license plates was already mounted (will holes in the bumper). Preliminary I decided to put my license plate on this bracket, allthough it doesnt fit (you can see this in the pictures). But that will not be the final solution.
Here is a pic of the back of the car.

Hallo Mas,
I hope you dont mind that i used the pictures of your car to start this tread, Like i said after all the comments on the rear sensors i was wondering how the members were going to respond to the front ones.

I parallel parked my Camaro, on the 1st day I owned it, with no trouble.
If You need sensor's to park, then maybe you need to learn to park.

Mas,

Good looking ride brother, must be awesome cruising the alps with that attention getter I had my Caddy sedan deville over there in 1992-96 and got allot of attention, can't imagine the nods you get with the Camaro Folks the Plates are so large over there because they have thousands of Traffic cameras all over Europe. simply a means to get your photo ticket to the right person when you get you photo taken Mas, next time your in the Alps stop by one of the beautiful Glacier lakes about 4-6K feet and snap a few photos of the Camaro that would be awesome.

I think it is the back-up light. The original back-up lights have either been turned into fog lights or turn signals judging by the orange bulb inside them.

Try it several times a day in an old european city with only afew feet to spare!...if your a skilled driver it will probably work most of the times but someday your going to bang it up!

It has nothing to do with learning to park!

You are right. The original back-up lights have been turned into turn signals. They have to be orange in Austria. Either orange lenses or clear lenses with orange bulbs. Orange or clear lenses for the original turn signals are not available yet.
The additional light is the back-up light.
Original turn signals have been turned into brake lights, original brake lights into rear fog lights (also required in Austria/Europe).

I get a lot of attention - it is probably the first Camaro in Austria...

I think you do understand the parking-problem in old European cities...
And I don't mind that you used my pics.
