No one should ever be touching your car at a car show. That's like rule #1. I would have a serious issues if someone touched mine. I've been to a few and even the little kids know not to touch the cars.

I was at a car show with my supercharged ss last spring and I walked away for 5 mins. Low and behold, there was a kid sitting on the nose when I came back.......feet on the splitter.

I thought I was going to throw him across the parking lot. he was about 11 yrs old and his parents were standing right beside him-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just make sure to display a 'Please Look but Do Not Touch' sign on or near the car where it can be seen.

I went to a cruise night about a month ago, there were about 100 cars in a large parking lot. My wife and I closed my ZL1 up so we could check out some of the other cars that were there. Of course I always have 1 eye on the car, we were only about 50 feet away when I saw 2 guys approach and circle the car, one grabbed the spoiler and started to shake it, I started heading back trying not to cause a scene until the other guy started knocking on my carbon fibre hood insert. I snapped, I yell for them to get the f##k away for my car and told the one guy I was going to jump on the hood of his car. Some of the car owners started giving them a hard time also, they left immediately. Some people have no respect for other people's property. By the way they drove away in a beat up 90's F150.

I always drive my hot pink Yugo to car shows and cruise-ins.People are scared to get to close to it.But seriously, that's one reason I don't do shows or cruise-ins.Oh,and the peoplewho tell u what's wrong with ur car; gotta love them.Bottom line;I love my car,I pay for my car......everyone else can like it or hate it;from a safe distance... .for them.lol

Unfortunately people have no respect for others. I just got back from a cruise to Aruba. My mother has to use a powered chair due to needing knee surgery. I cannot tell you the number of people able to walk stairs that just jump in front of wheel chairs waiting for the elevators. Or they look right at people trying to move around them and just stand there in the way. :(
