Aeros and Autos at Ellington Airport

The Houston Airport System will host the Aeros & Autos at Ellington Airport. This annual family-friendly community event will feature a car show, static military aircraft displays, an aircraft fly-in, give a ways, food, and live entertainment. Proceeds from this show will benefit the Texas Lions Camp; an organization focused on assisting physically disabled, hearing/vision impaired and diabetic children from the State of Texas, and The United Service Organization or better known as the USO; whose mission is to support the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform.

Just to let you know I am Shawn Chittum the event coordinator for Aeros & Autos and owner of a 2010 Camaro SS/RS. We will be having classes this year and 60 diffrent awards rather than top 25. Gates open at 8:00 and close at 4:00. Judging will begin at 10:00 and trophies will be handed out at 3:00. The website is www.fly2houston.com/aerosandautos There is alot of information on the site. One other thing to remeber. If you want to park together please come in the gate together. We utilize a HUGE area. We have more than enough room for you to wait in the parking lot before you come in so if there is a straggler. We will allow space to be saved on a single spot bases but only till that certain section starts to get full. then they space will be filled.

When you come in the gate you will immediatley get you picture taken with the Apache then you will be directed to your parking location.

So if there is any question let me know.

Looking like we may be able to do a couple group shots with the B-17. Not sure on sitting price as of now but should be around 150-200. With 1 poster. Will only have a small amount like 5 due to time frame and it will happen after the entire show. A max group of 8 I think will work. Let me know if interested and I will see what we can do. Again this is only speculation and I will see what we can do.
