I remember that blue one, I actually did a speech back in college using it. One of 16 Le Mans blue ZL-1s and had some weird (not to mention a lot of) factory options, one being "Liquid Tire Chain". Gorgeous car!

The black with gold stripes ZL-1 was Vince Piggins personal car, as was said earlier a styling exercise by the GM studio.

I have seen the subject car on ebay with a Canada location. It was being said to be real. But IF, that's a big IF I remember correctly...the car had a very very serious restoration/rebuild from pretty much nothing

It CAN'T be a real ZL1. There were only three Rally Sport ZL1s ever produced.
1) Black/Black Gold Stripes Vince Piggens engineering car 2) Lemans Blue/ White 3) Silver/Black Below is dennis Barker with Fred Gibb ZL1 #1 Last edited by NicKey; 09-27-2012 at 10:20 PM. |

I think the silver one in the pic's belonged to Doug Martz. I remember seeing that on in Milwaukee when he owned CPX. I bought allot of parts from him for my 68.
