Are you going S/C or Turbo? What do you consider cheap?

With a supercharger you will only need the boost gauge and not a boost controller, so that will be cheaper. I would compare prices between Summit Racing, Apex Motorsport and Matt@FSP (all vendors on this site).
I am a bit surpised your kit didn't come with the gauges. Post info in the FI List thread so I can add you to the list.

a wideband for AFR is absolutely necessary to ensure you're not running too lean (or rich). Personally I have an Innovate wideband.

We have awesome deals on the AEM and AUtometer components.. You can throw me a PM.
I use the AEM UEGO wideband A/F as a professional gauge for my daily tuning also. Have a few different ones, but my AEM is my mainstream one. Great wideband, great pricing. As per boost, AEM has an electronic one that is a lot more than the Autometer mechanical (Run a vacuum line to gauge) gauges. So you can go with a mix of AEM WB and Autometer (Usually I like the carbon Fiber or Sport Comp series) mechanical boost gauge, with the Autometer pillar pod. - Matt |
