Pillar Pod Boost Gauge

Does anyone know of a pillar mounted boost gauge setup that is being manufactured?

Isn't there an air bag in the A pillar? Probably not the best place for a gauge if there is...

My bad - I did not realize there was an airbag in there. On second thought, that would be a really bad place for it.

Besides the ADM solution, has anyone seen anything else? I perfer mechanical looking gauges over the digital outputs.

Ok, cool. I checked with ADM and they are out 2-3 weeks on their boost gauges and I need one in 1 week to get installed with my procharger.

99.9% of the pillar pods are made by one company, GaugeWorks. When they have it, everyone will.

Also I don't believe there is an airbag in the Camaro A-pillar. There should be a small plastic "airbag" medaliian if there is and I haven't seen these.

Well, i've seen the ADM gauge, Hennessey mounted theirs on the steering column, and someone else just got theirs mounted onto the a pillar. I don't know if there really is a airbag on the pillar.

if you are going to spend the money.. do it right and get one of these.

I had one in my SRT-4... one of the best gauges you can get, hands down.

There is definitely a side curtain airbag, I think the biggest question is whether it deploys from the pillar or the headliner. And if it deploys from the pillar, would the gauge/pod swing clear with the trim panel or would it become a projectile directed towards the driver's face.

Too bad the software on the DIC couldn't be changed or hacked to give you a boost reading.
