I am not against HUD, but some gears and suspension upgrades were probably 2x more important for a performance car... EDIT: Want to note that I am not trying to be rude, just asking a question that is important to me. |

DeathChill I think people on here, not saying you specifically, really fail to realize that gears and suspension upgrades are not as easy as just slapping parts on a car. For a factory car that is going to warranty this stuff it takes time to research, develop, test, certify, and implement these changes.

The suspension on the Camaro is not bad by any means.
I am sure it looks that way with the stang but ford has worked on the 2011 suspension for 5 years now. They first started offering a track pack after 5 years of the new stang. I am sure GM will be able to do it in less than that. |

If you have been around for a number of years like some of us have been, you will realize that the suspension and handling on the Camaro is remarkable. Try to get a '69 to handle the way this does...or a '78...'90?
Is there room for improvement? Sure there is. Does the average driver need the improvements? I highly doubt it. GM did their best to make these cars very affordable for Joe Public. And I think they did a great job of it. Worried about suspension and handling? There are aftermarkets out there a person can deal with to obtain the results they feel they desire or need. This car is by no means a tank. I mean, it is what...300lbs heavier than the Mustang? That is not a lot. And remember, it is lighter than the Challenger. But for GM to start making changes to suspension and such would be crazy. The price would go up. There would be warranties to worry about. And really...does Joe Public need tighter suspension to enjoy this car on the public roadways? |

Most people couldn't drive these cars to their limits anyways.
