You found Amsoil at a store? I plan on changing my fear diff. fluid with Amsoil and some GM friction modifier.

Why are you changing it? It's good for 97000 miles.

Hmm no it's not.

The GM service manual states and even most mechanics agree that you should change it after 1,500 miles for the initial break in and then after either a) every 25k miles if you drive hard, tow, or live in a mountainous area or b) 50k miles otherwise.
