FS:DSS V6 M6 one-piece aluminum driveshaft

Like the title says I am selling my DSS one piece aluminum driveshaft for V6 models with manual transmission. I have always been a huge believer in 1 piece units and the power transfer is much better with this piece. These run $899.99+shipping new plus you have to wait for it to be built. Skip the wait and have it now for ***$425 SHIPPED***

How much does it weigh compared to stock? How much of an improvement is the drivetrain reduction (percentage) I think i read most aluminum shafts are in the 2% range

It weighs 17 pounds. I don't have a weight on the factory driveshaft but I definitely liked the way the car felt afterwards. You gain the rotational mass reduction as well as losing the parasitic loss in the carrier bearing...not to mention you don't have to worry about the carrier bearing failing and causing excess vibes. Power transfer feels much more direct with this piece.

Interesting. Same driveshaft on LLT as the LFX? How many miles are on it?

DSS lists it to fit 2010-2013 V6 models and GM lists the 2011-2014 to have the same part number for the drive shaft so it should bolt right up. It has maybe 20k miles on it, never been abused.

Drive shaft has been removed from vehicle and ready to go. Comes with all hardware you would get from DSS

No the drive shafts are different v6 to v8. I am actually very still much interested in this. I just don't have the funds at the moment. (Life happened then I lost my job, but I start a new job tomorrow and I think it's going to be a good for with good earnings. Should have some cash for you in about 2 weeks If you still have the piece then.

Shot you a pm crc91. It won't work on the SS but DSS may be able to make adapters for it to fit you'd have to contact them and ask as I'm not sure if the SS is longer or shorter shaft length.
