I found out that Escort has a interest free 12 month payment thing going on right now, so I opted for the Passport 8500 X50 Black with Blue Display. $99 initial payment and $19.95 for 12 months.

Excellent choice.....I had a blue 8500 & purchased Escort's RedLine for my DD, I have a Solo S3 for my LS3 (cordless). Nothing wrong with the 8500, just wanted the latest/greatest when the RedLine became available (along with the new S3).....

Recommended assy's: SuperCup mount & SmartCord (if not included)

I actually purchased the 8500 X50. Escort have a interest free 12 month payment plan offer going on right now.

My V1 was $400 I can't tell you how manny thousands it has saved me. Shit couple thousand today alone. Each avoided ticket is a good $3-600 staying in your pocket.

I love my Escort 8500 X50 so much that I bought an extra one so I have one in every vehicle I own. It has saved my butt a bunch and definitely paid for itself.

No problem, it's a great deal. I almost went with the 9500 but wasn't sure if the extra features were worth the extra $140.
