Radar Detector Hardwiring? - Tapping into 12V Accessory
Has anyone hardwired their radar detector in yet? If so, where were you able to tap into 12v power that is only hot when the key is turn on ? Did you tap into the wiring harness by the BCM, run a wire to the engine fuse block or tap in someplace else?
(Update::Found 12V accessory (switched power) it's the Brown wire in the light green plug going into the BCM above the gas pedal.) Eactly as discribed in the wiring sticky. Last edited by Sloppy Joe; 06-23-2009 at 10:12 PM. |
