Made the East Texas Camaro rally and meeting in Tyler. Wow, that was fun! Thanks to all for making the Bucketlist feel right at home. Definitely worth the trip over from Longview. Met some really nice people and saw some cool countryside. (even if it was going by at a rather fast pace!). I swear the Inferno Orange Vert was smiling when we got it back home. We won't be able to make the next one, but we will see you again. Be safe!-Bucketlist

Had a great time! Nice to finally meet everyone. Not used to driving ole Thunder through the curves like that. You guys sure do know how to handle those rides. Now, straight line acceleration........that's my game. Looking forward to meeting up with you all again.

Really good to meet the new folks today - we are glad you came to the gathering. Looking forward to the next meet up in July.

Blue Thunder 2, that's the thing I like most about our 5th gens - whether your thing is the strip, orange cones, or road courses, these cars are a blast!

Oh yea, David and I figured out that pit bull's owner drives a Mustang!

Cal and Nick, let us know how the benefit goes tomorrow. Post a lot of the pics!

Envious, Try some of these FMs: 344, 346, 449, 450, 837, 756, 850, 855, 1002, 1650 .... in Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Smith, and Upshur counties. If you don't have 'em, get some county level maps to see the portions of these that have the best curves. Have fun!

If was good to meet you and your wife as well, maybe we should try a meet in Longview sometimes as well (the other car club I am in alternates between the two).

Todd I am a strip guy myself mostly, it sucks that both Hallsville and Rusk shut down. I do want to take our 95 and the 11 out and see how they do. When are you guys planning a trip to the track?

Cruise this Saturday

We have been invited to join up with a club from the Gladewater area. To attend a cruise Saturday. The meetup will be at the Brookshires in Gladewater at 4:30pm, and cruise to the Backporch in Kilgore for dinner.

http://thebackporchkilgore.com/

They are currently working with the city of Kilgore to have a car show down by the oil dericks downtown.

Their club is made up of Camaros, Mustangs, Classic cars, and Restrods.
They currently have 30 members. So should be a good turnout.

Later
Tim

I still need to work on the videos the quality is not very good.
New programs and all.

As for the cruise I told him it was a little short notice, but that I would post it here to let everyone know.

Sounds interesting, a guy I have been working with lately was looking for some car stuff like this so I will let him know (he is a Corvette guy). I will talk to the wife and see if she wants to do this cruise, is there any info about it online or club website?

Re: "Can't see the plate numbers" is a good thing! YouTube and plate numbers on fast moving cars is EVIDENCE to insurance company trollers, etal.

Yea I know, it's sounds like a paranoid 'George Orwellian', but you might be unpleasantly surprised.
