I swapped my 8# springs out (was getting 6.5# at mile high altitude) to 4# springs (actually get 4# boost here) and added a boost controller. My maximum boost is 10#. I've heard a general rule of thumb is you can get double the spring pressure with a boost controller for a maximum boost. Works for me until I forge.

Its really hard to say which one is more fun. Both setups are a blast to drive! You can't go wrong either way and both are proven performers but if you want to make BIG power down the road turbos is the way to go IMO…Either setup will easily make more than enough power for the street

"AGP can deliver to your door a “Tuner” kit which doesn’t include a fuel system upgrade or tune. Or our complete kit with fuel system upgrades and open HP Tuners base tune. Through AGP’s extensive testing over the past year, most stock engine cars (including stock cams) have been able to achieve a solid 575-600whp with our base kit at around 8psi. We do understand that every car is different and every dyno is different, so your numbers may be a little higher or a little lower depending." 700 rwhp on 6psi Slider.... "hm Bull Shtttt"

Nice I plan on getting a twin kit soon
One question do the exhaust on wastegates come like that vented to atmosphere or is it something to be requested cause I seen others route back into the exhaust itself.... I personally like this setup(vented to Atmospere) loud of corse lol |

I see a bad ass cam! that's it 6psi at 700 rwhp is my point is like when Ice and Slider said BS to maverick being inverted with a mig. So 12psi of superchargers boost equals 6s from a turbo?

It can. No blower taking 50-60hp to spin, and more efficient cooler IATs can make a big difference.

All of our turbos max HP listed on our website is also a good 5-10% less power than they can actually make too. We like to under promise and over deliver a bit. |
