6 cyl manual shifter rattle/buzz
Whats up with the 16 v6 manual shifter noise when winding any gear. Put your hand on the shifter or move it a little and it stops. I have a brand new 2016, what are the dealers doing to fix them? or is it a easy fix. I am a ex chevy tech and can get to the shifter if I need to.

The dealer replaced my shifter for a new one and problem solved.

Mine did it also. Drove me freaking nuts. Thankfully a google search lead to a post here. Took all of 5 minutes to fix.

Just made this fix. It was super easy and took about 10 mins. No more buzzing
