LS7 to be produced at Bowling Green
GM’s 7.0-liter LS7 engine, which was adapted from the LS7 used in the C6 Corvette Z06. The engine -- SAE-certified 505 horsepower (376 kW) and 481 lb-ft of torque (652 Nm) -- will be built by hand at the new Performance Build Center within GM’s Bowling Green assembly plant.
Here is the source: http://www.mlive.com/auto/index.ssf/...iced_at_7.html I guess there will be enough to fill orders for the new Z/28 also mentioned in Fbodfather's post about the pricing of the Z/28

Someone's off-camber, here. Reuss, in his video interview with Source Interlink/Motor Trend editors back in August, said the PBC in Wixom was extended to specifically build the Z/28 LS7s...

Bad@ss, I read the same thing and thought likewise.
Lowdown, you are right but that was in August...months ago. Maybe they finally recognized the potential sales volume of the Z/28. At $75,000 they are making a good profit, or management would not have green lighted the price. Here's hoping they do assemble more than what they have said in the past. In their previous statements I don't seem to see where they EVER said that the LS7 would not be built in Bowling Green. |

NHmmm, listening to that segment LowDown one will notice that he said something like Wixom will build the last of the LS7's.... in its CURRENT design/form. Maybe we'll see a next iteration of an LS7 in the 2015 Z/28's???
