Made The Switch
Hello all, I just yesterday bought my first camaro. It's a 2012 Ashen Grey SS with RS package.
I am a long time owner of many mustangs ( 6 to be exact  ) and have always been a ford guy.Well I finally decided to give the Camaro a shot cause the styling grew so much on me and my good buddy Tssunami (forum member here) has one and really got me into them. Well anyways I'm glad I made the switch, it is my absolute favorite sports car I've owned to date and this is coming from a guy who's owned two 2003 cobras and a 2010 shelby. The ride quality is unbelivable and the power is exhilarating. I opted for the automatic version cause i am just sick of shifting gears and I'm really glad I did, love it and the paddle shifters are a pure JOY to use (best of both worlds, can be lazy when I want)  ......I really look forward to doing some basic modding to start off and being a part of Camaro5!!! Some pictures of course ( will post better ones at a later time) |

Hell yeah bro!! Little man looks pretty excited!!! I'm glad he digs the car. Hopefully the wife and daughter like it too.
Glad to have been a part in helping you make the decision to give this car a try, especialy since you had a big hand in me getting MY Camaro. (SSRS55 was sending me pics of 5th gens when they first came out, he went with me on my first test drive before I purchased my CGM 1SS, and he even let me get behind the wheel of his GT500.... SSRS55, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
