AGP twin turbo kit vs cam ecs kit down the road??

Debating adding either a agp turbo kit to my car vs doing a cam now and a ecs kit a few months after that. This wouldn't be my first cammed car so drive ability wouldn't be an issue and the car is not my dd. If you had to do it all over again which route would you have gone???

I went from a Ysi to an AGP kit. The AGP with no other mods will give the power the ECS + cam will and the AGP kit has much more room to grow.

You'll be money ahead in the long run if you just pony up the money for the AGP kit from the beginning.

Regardless of which direction you go, look at the big picture and factor in fuel system and suspension which you'll need either way in the long run.

What are your power goals?

right now i have basic bolt ons for power intake pfadt headers (which if i go agp i will be selling) catback (sound) and tune. I already have upgraded most of my suspension handling and stiffness wise with bmr fe4 zl1 front and rear sway conversion, bmr trailing arms and toe rods, pfadt lowering springs, solid sub frame mounts, uper control arm bushings, diff bushings. Down the road with the power obviously i would do axles ( when they break ) upgrade clutch and so on.
Power goals would be low to mid 600's and that would be on e85 which i would have no problem running and i would rather run vs dealing with meth. Would be open to cam possibly down the road or when the motor goes poof! probably build a whole new engine set up from that point on.

Sell the headers and go AGP. Power is addictive and very soon, 600whp won't be enough and you'll want more. It happens to all of us.

The base AGP kit will easily make 600+whp on an otherwise stock engine.

I also went from YSI Ecs kit TO AGP twin turbo..
Made 960hp with ecs and 1026 with AGP.
Although only 60hp different, the AGP is a ton faster.
Power comes in 2,000+ rpms faster and also gained 250ft/lbs of torque with AGP

Plus.. Why work your car harder to turn a belt (blower) to make the same power or less power...

Im happy with my ecs kit, look in my sig for mods and the time it ran, but if the agp kit was out when i bought the ecs i probably would of had one right now. Installed a agp tt kit on my cousins car and it is nice.

I wish agp and dealers would post more build threads. Kevin@agp is cranking out a car a week from bone stock to 700-810rwhp. Cpr just did a 416 forged motor, agp kit, 1140rwhp or so on pretty low boost. Shops are cranking out 700-800 stock motor builds all the time and with forged internals 1000-1200.

What block are they using on the 416?

Call cpr and ask. They ran out of time. Car should make 1200 plus easy enough.

On a 416, they're probably using the stock block. Bore it out to it's max, 416, forge the bottom end and presto, tons of available power.
