Does anyone have a V6 without NPP?
Just want to hear your reasons on not getting NPP. Trying to view different angles of thought. Thanks!

I bought off the lot v6 without npp. I thrn added the single mode gm/borla perf exhaust and deleted thev2nd cats- very happy with sound, great startup and no drone. My vid is in this section.

I didn't get NPP because I hate the quad pipe look.

I didn't get it because I also prefer the twin pipe look over the 4.
I also don't like the sound of the NPP on the V6, but then I'm not into overly loud exhausts. I like the mellow sound of the stock.

Honestly I did like the NPP, but I bought off the lot and really wanted a standard transmission, and a V6, the only car that had those two things did not have the NPP.
If I had ordered I may have paid the extra $800 for it,.. but I think I still would have rather put my money into Bose or the 8" display before I got the NPP. Whiskey |

I would have got it, but I couldn't find a car on the lot with the right combination of options.
The NPP sounds great and is cheaper than most quality aftermarket exhausts. There will be aftermarket options for the NPP eventually as well, and the cars with the standard exhaust don't have the ability to have a dual mode exhaust installed that works with the car's settings. I have the GM performance exhaust installed now, and I think it sounds great but I would not have hesitated to buy the NPP if I found the right car. |

One more "bought (leased) off the lot" here--although I think the NPP sounds great, I couldn't find a car configured the way I wanted: V6, M6, NPP, w/o RS. I dislike the 20" wheels for DD use more than I like the NPP sound.
I have considered putting an aftermarket exhaust on it, but probably will just leave it alone. If I want to make noise, I will ride my Ducati 750 F1 or BMW S1000R. |

I bought off the lot and it had the NPP. I keep it in stealth mode all the time. I don't like the noise. If I were ordering, I would not have added it.

I bought off the lot. Almost completely base. Frankly I absolutely LOVE the sound of my car just the way it is.

In the same boat as many others; it was hard enough to find a V6 M6 let alone with NPP. I like the sound of the stock exhaust. Not sure I would have paid more for a better sound. Flow and HP, yes. Sound, no. And if there are any gains with the NPP, I'm certain they are minimal.

I bought mine off the lot, which did not have NPP. Personally, I love the sound of the car stock without NPP; it's a very unique sound.

Didn't feel I'd need it. I always go aftermarket anyways to shed some weight and also get a straight through performance.
They say the quickest way from A to B is a straight line. Straight through is how I prefer my exhaust. Keep the exhaust velocity high, it increases the scavenging effect, and makes the engine more efficient....which means more power to the wheels, rather than engine pumping losses.
