Going on vacation

How many of you are travelling this holiday weekend with your Camaros and how much luggage are you taking?

Im going up to central Illinois to visit family. I am going to bring back a dehumidifier that someone is giving me. There is a good chance of rain all weekend and I heard the word hail from the weatherman last night. Im thinking I will take my truck. Bummer, I was looking forward to a little road trip in the Camaro.

I hear you. My pickup is very comfortable for long distance travelling and I don't have to worry about the weather or how much luggage to bring. I only have a little driving time behind the wheel of an RS on hilly two lane roads and was very impressed by the ride and the responsiveness of the six banger.

I'm interested in getting a 2SS 1LE and am trying to get some feedback by those who travel with their Camaros and how much his/her luggage they can carry between the back seat and nether area.

I've taken my Camaro SS on several trips. You can comfortably pack a week's worth of clothes for two people in two medium suitcases...and still have the back seats. The pass thru makes carrying longer suitcases a breeze. The trunk opening limits the height of your bags. I have an A6....stock with AFM I'd pull 24-26 MPG. AFM shut off = 22-25 MPG. On my last trip with an SLP TVS2300 supercharger under the hood, I was back pulling 24-26 MPG as long as I kept it under 75....
