Recently I pulled in the garage and around the water pump or tensioner I heard (not very loud) a like a rubber squeaking.

Today, I reached down to the water pump pulley and could just barely feel it move up and down. I know in older cars this would mean the pump is starting to go out. No leaks and engine temp is fine. It’s just the noise.

Does the same hold true for this car??

Or are the voices in my head finally getting the band back together?
