upgrading v6 rotors question
I have no idea if this is possible but i figured id ask. Is it possible to put v8 rotors on a v6? I know its not a direct swap so what would i need or would it be too much hassle it wouldn't be worth it? Reason behind this idea is i like to look of the bigger drilled and slotted rotors on the SS. I saw the v6 drilled and slotted rotors at the fest and they just looked so much smaller. Its mainly for looks, dont track my car too often so i dont want to upgrade to brembos to do it. If its not possible ill stick with the v6 rotors.
Any help would be appreciated! |

You must upgrade caliper, rotor, and lines to the SS Brembos. All or nothing.

Any idea how much it'd cost to upgrade to the Brembos?

I found the answer on the JDP site:
http://www.jdpmotorsports.com/manufa...vrolet?cat=532 A little more than I want to spend right now... but cool.

I have a question to. I am looking to upgrade to the Brembo brakes and see different pictures that show some with rollers and some without. Also I see some calipers with weights on them. So what is the difference and when I install the system do I have to or how would I get them balanced if that is what the weights are for?

They were some of the idiotic methods GM attempted to deal with squealing complaints. None are necessary but neither will they hurt anything if you get a set that has them. Calipers do not get balanced, they don't spin.
