I had an '07 Cobalt SS Coupe in a color called Sport Red Tintcoat,(it was available on '08's as well, I am not sure about the '09's) which to my eyes is identical to RJT on the Camaro SS I saw at the Cleveland Auto Show . That color cost $295 extra on the Cobalt, just as RJT is extra on the Camaro. If they are not the same color, they are awfully close. It looks like a burgundy almost in cloudy weather but the sunlight really makes it look like a metallic Ruby red. Actually, I liked the color enough that I would have ordered my Camaro in RJT but, I really liked the ABM so, that is what I ordered.

Again about the color. It's 2 materials / same paint. Not really GM's fault. If they made it metal it would not give the 5mph flex requirement.

Don't sweat it. But also don't blame them. Complex paints change when they dry and depending on the surface it can appear different. If it's that much an issue get one of the colors that does not dry as contrasting.

Remember they have to bend.. they have to shrink etc. It's not just how it looks. It's how it holds up. You want a paint that can bend when you shoot it onto a plastic component surface.

arcangel..thanks for the hd pics. they went a long way towards my decision to pick rjt.

what a classy color. for me its perfect, i'm 49 and didnt want to go with too flashy of a color. i'll take enough grief from friends who think i'm trying to be young again,but hey whats wrong with having some fun. anyway i have'nt been this excited about a car in a long time.

cant wait to take delivery on my 2lt rs rjt with polished 20's

I was seriously considering RJT and really love the color but I have a 79 Z28 that I restored that is very similar and didn't want two cars that close. So I ordered IOM just to be different. I don't know, maybe I should have................

Here's a pic of my '79, it looks a little darker because it was a cloudy day.
