Yep. Just watched the Z28 reveal video and I like the front end a lot better seeing it on a rotating table.

If that "is the case",...I would rather have the ZL1. You get more power/torque, better ride on the street and the seats will be more comfortable. That's just my opinion.

I have drooled over just about every SEMA Camaro concept since the cars release and just don't feel that way about what I've seen today. I really will give it another chance after seeing better pics and all the info but I can't ignore what has been seen. Lord willing, I will have a 1LE one way or the other.
Even if you don't like the taillights (non RS FTW) those seats are the one thing the 1LE needs. There also could be other '14 improvements that have not come to light yet.

Not even a little bit mad that I just took delivery of mine Tuesday. The front end on the Z/28 is great but the LS7 + Ceramic Brembos are all well and good but add up to more than I can afford. The hood looks sketchy in photos and the rear looks like well... I don't like it more than what I have on my '13.

The SS just doesn't do it for me. I can see them selling the hell out of them but I'm happy with my 2013 2SS/RS/1LE...

Over all I think they hit a home run but this will go down like the '67/'68 vs. '69. They are all beautiful but they each have their fans. Most have a preference... Personally I like the '68 best.

what is the difference between the tr-6060 in the SS and the tr-6060 in the 1le other than gears? if the trans gears is the only main difference (1le has z06 gears) you can get a stock tr-6060 from summit for less than $3000 and swap out the gears. swapping gears is pathetically easy

It might be easy, but you still have to buy the correct gears, and do the work (which takes time), and you have already paid for 1 transmission when you bought the car. I also wonder, due to the HP of the ZL1 and ZO6, if the input or output shafts might be a different diameter....just a thought.

I'm going off experience with eaton transmissions, single counter-shaft and twin counter-shafts. I should have said for me it's pathetically easy, but also when you already have the tools and the knowledge it should be. In real time you can have a trans sitting on a work bench, take it apart, install the correct gears, check clearances and tolerances and have it ready in a matter of 4 hours or so given how many breaks you take during

I hear what you are saying. I just think that the talk I see on here about converting regular SS cars to 1LE cars, and 1LE cars to Z/28's is severely underestimated from a cost standpoint. Also, may folks do not recognize the cost difference between making something perform at a given level, and making that same vehicle perform at that given level with reliability.

Actually I don't like the hard lines coming off the top of the wheel wells on the '69. That was one of the reliefs I had when they introduced the 2010.

Can't lie though if given the right opportunity I would buy a '69 without hesitation.

True, plus the cost of which most shops charge to install or build stuff is crazy. And the time they say it takes when most of the time they drag ass because they know they have more people ready to give them thousands of $$$$ for their "expertise." I was contemplating buyin a 2010 SS and converting it to a 1LE but after all the times I've seen clones and shook my head in disbelief. I couldn't bring myself to do it. Plus the weight and horrible visibility killed it for me also :(

Cool. I was trying to make a funny regarding the only main difference between '67s and '68s (that being the vent windows). The '69 has always been one of my favorite cars. I have had mine since my freshman year of college....1985! To be honest, there are few Camaro's that I would want!
