are u happy with your catback? if so which one?
so I was bored browsing around looking at catbacks(I do want one in the near future) and saw that the solo mach x llt system is very cheaper than all the other catbacks. so I thought this mod could come sooner than expected. those of you that have the solos how do u like them? anyone else with a cat back pls add to this ive seen a good amount of videos on them but you never know till you hear it in person.
p.s. ik how everyone is crazy about the magnaflow x pipe with the mrt axle backs, but I want the cat back over axle back |

Corsa has the best catback that I'VE heard for the lfx. But I think the solo xpipe system would sound good too. I've heard more bad setups than good.

I'd be curious to hear that one in person, the solo caught my attention because it looks great and have the J-pipes to help with drone, this is just straight up mid-muffler and then piping to the end. I'm curious just how loud this one is.

Just put the Mrtv2 on and this exhaust woke up the sleepy lfx. I also added the K&n cold air intake and a custom dyno tune. Whole different ride now. Whatever exhaust you choose would be an upgrade from the stock trash cans. Everyone will have there opinion on which exhaust is better. But its all about what u like, what your willing to spend.

I removed the resonators and the H-pipe and replaced them with dual thrush glasspacks that I got at the local autozone. I also kept the two stock mufflers on the back. The total cost was around $80 and it sounds pretty good for a v6.

awesome thanks for all these replies so far. ik theres many videos out there when people install there catback but does anyone have an updated video on how ur exhaust sounds now being that theres more miles on it. it should have a little bit deeper sound to it.

I have had it since last july and I love it. Got it for $517 on summitracing.com Sounds completely different than the few other exhausts I've heard in person. Only real drone for me being a 2ls is between 60-65 any faster and you get more road/wind noise. And cruising at like 1100 rpm it's dead silent

A coworker has Pypes installed on his LLT. His is louder but not as deep as my Flowmaster Super 40s. I am happy with mine since just about all exhaust on the V6 sounds similar. Different brands and models just produce more volume and eliminate drone in certain RPM ranges. My drone is at 1500-2000 cruising in 5th or 6th gear.
