The ZL1 PET
ok. Good morning Fans of Zl1.
This thread is called the PET or "positive energy thread" for short. Lots of talk about Doom and Gloom (DAG) in the past in regarding pricing and track times, numbers, etc. My thought is simple. This is just a fun little thread to keep people encouraged, and on a positive note without having to worry about DAG. Get it? If for some reason you are feeling down one day, and need a boost, I encourage you to come to the ZL1 "PET" for a little boost for the day.  Members, please keep this thread energized and charged and post anytime you get or have a "PET" thought. No negativity please. If you have something to say, think about it first. If its negative, please refrain from posting.  Fair nuff?ok... Ill start.. Good news is coming soon! More good news is right around the corner for ZL1!

Yay! I can't wait for the numbers (quarter mile, 0-60, braking, lateral).
Although I am a sucker for ABM, Lemans Blue, etc., the zl1 looks absolutely killer in IBM........!

Every piece of information we've been getting is more and more striking than the last!! ZL1 = MR, supercharger, D-M exhaust, and aero work...whoopdie! ZL1 gets automatic transmission...great! ZL1 LSA = 580hp 556tq...wow! ZL1 laps 'Ring in a blistering 7:41 sec...Wha-huh!?! ZL1 will be available in convertible, has new grille, new color...WOOOO!!! ZL1 ________________________________________________ What will it be, next? And what expressions of shock and joy are left!?

ALSO.... I will also feel my gut feeling tells me any discussion about the price up till now or until the time of price announcement, is purely speculation on EVERYONE's part including my own... "even the father does not know" or if the "father" knows, he aint tellin!

^He is The Wizard!!!!! I believe that his enthusiasm and honest to goodness feel for this car leads him to the right answers. I have noticed that Wiz (hope I'm not embarrassing ya) will tip us right on the verge of a big announcement....and then BAM...POW...like a bolt of magic lightning.
Now....if I can get my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow....

Concerning the exposed CF insert, I need some car porn with a black photoshop & the exposed CF. I do hope it's available that way for '12. I was concerned that black on black might not stand out enough, but GM came to the rescue here too. Way to go guys. .

Anyway, the site took on different names. None of that really matters but anyway... what I am trying to say is this. I am glad that C5 was bought up and turned into the site that it is now currently. I would have never dreamed this site basically starting as a "idea' is big as it is today.... The second part to this is this... The members here... Speaking the honest to goodness truth here... The c5 members here are for the most part the most kindest, truthful down to earth members I have ever encountered in a car forum as this. It speaks volumes to me, as I know it does you guys. You guys are what make this site what it is and successful. For those that do read some of my post and to the ones that are getting a new ZL1 in the next few years, I am planning not a web forum, but a site dedicated to registering your ZL1. Its in the very early planning stages as we speak, but hopefully I will have it up and running by the time we start ordering Zl1's or at least by the time OldJedi gets his.  Anyway, you guys are the BEST. You are what keeps us coming back for more.
