Seriously, what do you guys/ gals think? Springs alone okay (probably 1inch drop), or are coilovers a must? I though I saw coilovers for around $1K, but maybe they are not good brands? I have had lowered cars in the past and never used coilovers, I just keep being told that coilovers would be a much better ride. Plus I think with coilovers I could dial in the pefect "hella-flush"

I will say that springs have a very decent ride in the camaro, unlike my GTO.
Coilovers would be best, but the ride doesn't suffer much at all with springs, I went with pedders..

Thanks for the info. I might start looking at just springs as it looks like they could save me a bundle.... Did you install yours or take them to a shop?

Mike and the boys at Loud Pedal Motorsports nearby Phoenix ordered the springs for me and did the install... One of the reasons I went with Pedders was because thier springs don't require the bumpstops to be cut like some of the others.

Well, I got a couple of boxes in at work today.... yay..
First up: Skip shift eliminator. While I can usually just hit the gas to go around this, it sure is annoying and for $17 it will be really nice to not have to go into Fourth when I am stuck behind those slow cars... Up next my NoWeeds is completed... Although honestly I am not sure I really want this anymore? It will be nice to sound like a muscle car, I think I am just a little worried about loosing power as my Corsa does a really good job. I should have a few more boxes of goodies coming next week as well.. It is going to be a great summer that I can say for sure.

Thanks Beth - that might just be the positive reinforcement I need to go forward with them
I think the big thing is that I only heard them the one time one your car and I have already forgotten..... Well, they are here now so I might as well put em on lol... I think in reality I am just more exited about some other things I have coming in soon so the noweeds has slightly fallen on my excite-o-meter

Thanks Andre... I have really enjoyed watching all your videos (with sound lol). Hopefully here soon I can provide a few for you as well. I still will not be even close to keeping up with your ride (or any of them from what I can tell), but I do have some plans to at least try and make top 15 in ABQ...lol... There are some amazing Camaro's here in the 505.
oh and I love the license plate and Flag you have BTW.. Here is a pic of me and my little girl, Im sure you see what I mean...
