Women Camaro drivers...when other women pull up beside you!!!

I've noticed more women camaro drivers in general. At first it seemed like most drove V6s but just recently I have noticed more women pulling next to me in an SS.

The first year I had my car, it was constant attention from both sexes. I had girls rolling down their windows yelling "I love your car" all the time. Definitely not as much any more. I do often see the ladies fixing their hair or whatever when they are behind me. lol

I also try to wave or flash the lights whenever I see another camaro. Rarely returned. :(

Same thing around here, guys in Camaros don't wave/nod/smirk or acknowledge I'm there when they pull up next to me. Not sure if it's because they may be in a V6 & I have a SS (yep, this SS driver is a chic!!) but I get nothing!!! I do have dark tinted windows but I always wave!! Now I will admit I get WAY more attention when the top is down (on the CAR!!) but just expected the locals to be friendlier!! Think I'll just start a one chic waving campaign and see if it catches on!! 😁

I am surprised that women are surprised by this. I see it all the time in the work place too and have known many women who refuse to have female friends for some reason or another. I think it's a competition thing. *shrug*

I observed that the Camaro community was more friendlier in 2010, my guess is because there were not as many 5th Gens around and also Camaro owners who bought the then new 5th Gen were longtime Fans of the Camaro. I bought my first 5th Gen in November 2009 and always got thumbs up or waves for the first two years from other Camaro drivers. Then the trend started to fade by late 2012.

I think that there are just so many Camaros out there, people have lost attention or interest or something. Doesnt matter if your a chick or not. That's exactly why I went with a 2014 instead of 13. I (believe it or not) love them LED taillights and angrier eyes

You pretty much said it. The 5th gen camaro is really a very popular car now .Reminds me of the Sn/95 mustangs....so many people had them. Not a bad thing just people's interest isnt there as much as it was in 2010. Even when I had mine in 2011 that I bought in 2012, I really didnt notice that many people staring at it :(

Good point. I got mine in March 2010...drove it cross county in September 2010. People were catching up with me on the interstate just to get a look. Everywhere I stopped, someone was commenting, taking pictures, etc. It was exciting to have a car so new, most had never seen one yet. If my car were human, it would have had more dates than Hugh Heffner. Me, on the other hand, no such luck.
