Ice the stripes

After washing my car I noticed that the ralley stripes looked kind of dull and had a few water spots. I already had a coat of Meguiars Tech 2 wax on the car and remembered that the Turtle Ice wax could be applied to vinyl and plastic. So I applied a coat of Ice on the stripes and wiped off with a micro fiber cloth and the stripes came back to life. They even sparkled a little bit. It's only been three days but they still look great.

Ya the turtle wax ice is remarkable tried it once and that is all I use now, ice car wash, ice wax, ice detailer inbetween when needed, and even the ice interior stuff I was amazed how well it works on everything

I've been using Turtle Wax products since the 60's and it's just as good if not better than all those over priced fancy named products ...

Just stay away from the edges. Wax is not the greatest for adhesives, tend to remove them.

IMHO, best way to preserve the stripes is don't touch them. I just use car wash soap and make sure not to rub against the edges at an angle. Then a leaf blower blow dry.

Many of the cars I've seen with the edges of the stripes peeling up, you could tell had wax along the edges. When I wax my hood and deck, I stay a couple inches away from the stripes and my edges look perfect.

Yeah, may not be one of the bigger names but it really works as advertised.

Ice is the easiest to use I have ever seen. Less than 10 minutes to do the whole car.

I love turtle wax product...but i use the Eagle one wax as you dry with a moist microfiber towel my stripes look new...

i spray and wipe leaving the surface moist and it evaporates...my stripes sparkle

perhaps its because its silver but i leave no swirls or water marks at all

I was the moderator on another 'car' forum, the main moderator in fact and was contacted directly by the Turtle Wax guys to do a 'review' on their products. They send me everything they had from this new line, this was years ago, use nothing else to date. Incredible stuff, the spray detailer is unreal on the black SS I have, keeps it mirrored up, great products!!
