Give your car its first wash??... I will put a poll with it also... I just got my car yesterday and debating if I should wash it Saturday, because the paint might not have setteled yet??.. So how long did you wait to give your car its first wash??

Didn't answer your poll cause there should be an option for the day it was delivered. (which is what I did)

Paint is baked on from the factory, its settled before it even rolls off the line.

The paint is baked and fully cured when it gets to you. I plan to take mine to local detail place ASAP so they can do their new car treatment on it.

The reason why I am asking is because on the way home it rained a good bit on the car when I got home it had rain spots on it so I just hosed the car down and they went away but there are still some spots but there not bad...

So do you think I should wash it today after I get home or wait untill saturday??

I washed mine the day after I got it. Wash it, polish it, wax it, do whatever you want immediately. The paint is all cured before you get the car.

Hello, I agree. First day I got the car, washed, two coats of Zaino Z2.

Day one...told the dealer to not even think about washing or waxing my Camaro!!! I drove home and washed/waxed her on day one!

Washed mine the very next day since it was late in the afternoon when I got it. Then 3 coats of Zaino, Awesome stuff.

I washed it the next morning after I took delievery, then spent a couple hours applying 3 coats of Zaino Z-2 with Z-6 between each coat.

Go ahead and wash it. The dealer already has unless you told them not too. Washing and waxing of a new car should be done day one to prevent any permanent damage to the paint.

I finnally washed it this evening (been raining like crazy the past two days).. and man I am glad I did wash it.. I used Meguiars shampoo and conditoner then i used the Meguiars Quick Wax as you dry.. That stuff works good... I am going to put a little more on tommorrow morning then I am going to put tire shine on it.... then off to meet Scott and 'Bee-Bee' for breakfast!
