I was going to post about this! AND I want to add...

In Opelika, AL, there is a car show of sorts. Most of the time the mustangs dominate the showing by having the most cars. After we eat, I am heading down there. It starts about 1800 EST but folk show up about 1630 to 1700. I think it would be nice to smoke the stangs.

Directions:
I85 South. Exit 58 in Opelika. At the top of the ramp turn right. Cross the lanes and get ready to turn left. Home Depot parking lot just past the cell phone store. There isn't any awards or anything just a place to show off your car and look at others!

Note to all, Lani has been having a lot of back problems and had back surgery about 2 1/2 weeks ago. You should see her back on the boards in another week or two when she is feeling better. She got to drive her SS today and it really exhausted her, but she still got a kick that someone took a picture at a stop light. Hope everyone is doing well.

To the West Central Georgia Camaro Club

My name is Jerry and I live in Eufaula, Alabama. I attended a couple of events several years ago that Lani had organized up in Columbus and had a great time. I'm currently a member of Emerald Coast Camaros (Panama City, Tallahassee, Crestview, and a few from Dothan and Ft. Rucker). Each month one of the members will set up a Meet & Greet and in April, it is my turn. On April 21st, we are getting together in Eufaula and I was hoping that you guys might join us since it's only about an hour away from Columbus. We will be meeting in Eufaula around 10:15 (Central Time) and going on a cruise (don't know if it will be escorted or not yet) with photo ops by the lake and lunch at a local sports pub. I have also met with Billy Lawrence Chevrolet in Eufaula and set it up for us to stop by their dealership after we eat lunch. They are going to be having an event at the dealership and are clearing out the entire center parking lot so we can all park and show off our cars. They are REAL excited to see all of our cars and will have snacks and drinks available for us.

They are going to advertise the event so we should have a good turnout - especially since it's almost next door to Walmart (kind of like a mini car show!). We can stay as long as we want and leave as we need to. Please let me know if y'all would be interested in joining us as soon as you can so I can start getting a carcount / headcount. I hope you can attend!

Hi,

A group of us from work and friends are renting the Talladega Gran Prix road course on Nov 5th. We have 12 cars but would like to get three more. I'll be bringing my ZL-1. We occasionally have a guy with a race-modified 4th gen Camaro that's wicked fast. It would be nice to have another Camaro there if anyone is interested.

The cost is $160 and you need a helmet. You can PM me for details.

ACE5 club in Atlanta is putting on a Camaro Corral at Road Atlanta on 4/19/13 & 4/20/13. There is a specific thread in the Southeast Forum with all of the details.

It is going to be a really fun event, with a cruise/dinner on Friday and Corral parking and track events provided by Road Atlanta and Grand Am. Will include a lap around the track, and a meet and greet with a Grand Am Camaro team.
