The Camaro needs a green..... be it a seafoam green or some sort of "grabber-type" green.

Why is it that the 2013 1lt convertible gets rear vision standard but the 1lt coupe has it as an option?? You have to get the 2lt to get it standard like last year! I don't remember reading that in any other Internet searches?!

The spec sheet shows both the V8 and V6 manual are both running faster in the quarter mile than thee automatics are.

The LFX seems to have slower E/T times than the LT even with 11 more hp.

The dual mode exhaust is a bit louder than I expected but has a beautiful deep sound. I was very pleasantly surprised how nice the electric assisted steering is. Congratulations John! I am sure it was worth the wait! What is your favorite feature thus far on the new 2013 Camaro? Have you tested out the new radio?

Here are the stats for the 1LE

Horsepower: 426 @ 5900
Torque: 420 @ 4600
0 to 60: 4.7 seconds
Quarter Mile: 12.9 seconds @ 113 mph
Skip Pad: 1.0 G
Curb Weight: 3,875 lbs
Power to Weight: 9.1:1

SS
0 to 60: 4.7 seconds (manual coupe); 4.8 seconds (automatic coupe)
Quarter Mile: 12.9 seconds @ 113 (manual coupe)
13.3 seconds @ 105 (automatic coupe)
Skid Pad: .90 g
Curb Weight: 3,849 lbs (manual coupe); 3,902 (automatic coupe)
Power to Weight: 9.04:1 (manual coupe)
What boggles my mind is GM hasn't upped the power rating on the 1LE with the NPP dual mode exhaust. On the Corvette, the dual mode exhaust added 6hp. I'm sure it will do the same for the SS/1LE Camaro. I just wish they listed it.

Meh, that doesnt stop me from wanting one though

I'm sure with the more aggressive gearing it will run mid 12's once some good drivers get their hands on them.

Anybody noticed that the F/R weight distribution is listed as the same regardless of whether it is a V6 or a ZL1. That can't be correct.

is it me or has anyone else noticed that with each year, the specific options available to one model become standard or optional on the others...which makes it seem like the models aren't unique anymore? i.e. the exhaust, now the suede...the steering wheel etc.

it's like the zl1 has become the trickle down queen lol

Maybe the added weight of the HD rearend balanced out the ZL1.

I am confused. I see the mohave seat inserts in the brochure, but does the dusk Camaro have seats that are completely Mohave? And is the dusk the only one that gets the full mohave seats?
