I know it's prob. due to the light, but is it just me or does the car look orange to you? Compared to the photos in the "Outdoor Inferno Orange Metallic Photos " thread (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9251) The color looks pretty close.

I wasn't gonna get stripes....but now I gotta really think about it.

I would want mine to cover the spoiler, as well as come down the entire front of the car to the lower bumper. Maybe a custom stripe aftermarket is in order.

Oh, and I'm gonna have to put some high temp black paint on those exhaust cans if they're gonna remain silver. Those need to hide more me thinks only seeing those nice shiny tips pointing at you from the back.
I'm gonna quote myself here...had time to think about this over dinner.

I still think the stripes HAVE to cover the spoiler to look right, but if they come down the front of the car, they'll be VERY susceptible to chipping and could look rough in short order.

I've never had vinyl stripes on a car. Anyone have input on their durability directly down the front bumper?

Anyone go to this show? I'm with everyone else. The car looks drop dead gorgeous, but is the Ambient Lighting working with it?

besides the fact that 427 was the engine size, not power, we could still run into the same situation as with the Olds 442. ever misconception in the book over the number.

the IOM car was not only under very different lighting, but cameras tend to make it look very red. on top of that, fbodfather has already said this one's red.

Just when I thought the factory/dealer stripes would be ok

I was so close to going ahead with factory or dealer installed stripes thinking they just didn't look that bad not going over the mail slot on the SS and now we find out they don't go over the rear spoiler. ARGH..........

I am assuming this is the way they really are going to be. Man, so sad. So close and yet one more departure from all of our expectations.

My brother has vynil stripes for his stang. I think it looks great, can do any colour, size, whatever you want and it always looks painted. The best thing about it is that its cheap and easily changable. My brother payed 1000 at the dealer for it, i told him not to, but anyways most places cost anywhere from 300-500.
I plan on getting my stripes for my IOM with aftermarket, to bring it over the spoiler and maybe the nose, just like the vert concept

The only thing about them is it cant really be touched up, my brothers front bumper after 3 years of being a daily driver has many chips, depends on where and how you drive it. Still think its better then touching up paint

Just my .02 ...those stripes are killer but Black(non metallic) would look better on that red. I also think that the non metallic paint color stripes would not click well with the metallic colors on the camaro..and vise versa....(say white on cyber gray metallic) I am going to have to wait to see some stripe combo's on the cars before I make a decision. maybe I'm just old school..i dunno

Like Bumblebee, My stripes are going further down the hood and over the rear Dove Tail Spoiler. IMO I simply think it looks better!
