New trunk, new quarters, new bumper, taillights, diffuser, spoiler......

Not worth it, IMO. Trade in for a 2014.

Take a look at your car and tell me how "new quarters" would be bolted on or how they're different.

I don't have to when the GM catalog I'm looking at shows me a different part number.

Respectfully, there is no way that GM retooled the quarter-panels this close to the 6th gen release for 2016.

I think you do when the quarter panel isn't bolted on, its part of the body and welded structure.

Looking at the rear bumper and rear quarters it looks like new quarters may not be required.

I started looking into it for like 2 seconds before I realized that it would be way too much work and money for something that looks different compared to whats out there.

If you do choose to go this route definitely post the cost and parts needed for those who want to do this also.

The rear 1/4 sheet metal has not changed at all. The only sheet metal change is to the hood and deck lid which are bolt one of course.

FWIW, we are playing with harnesses to connect the '14 tails to a '10-13 car.

Don't focus on the RS lights. Non-RS are way better.
