The weather is looking better. DRs will go on. But they are too short for the ZL1. Service Stabilitrac lights will be on.

Weather will be great, I'm not coming down. Last time I tried on overcast day I got to the Wawa before track and it started raining. I wish I was closer. Good luck tonight.

Atco tonight! Looks like a great night with temps in the 40s and manageable humidity.

I will be on street tires though, so just hoping for 12.4-5s. Maybe 117 mph? I did adjust my supercharger actuator with my new Ligenfelter tool!! I wish I put in my shift light, but I will watch the dash tach as recommended by the guy who comes in the blue ZL1 M6 running 12.1s. Next year more mods to come. Been kind of busy.

We wont be going back til we get the tune for the new converter. Ordered it last week so hopefully it'll be here soon. I'd like to see what the converter can actually do. Most claim a half second reduction in ET.

You did not miss much. There was an over 1 hour clean up and the track prep was not so good. Good luck with the tine.

Woah! Nice run! So this is a 2015 GT premium auto with a tune, CAI, DRs, and a converter beating Pat at his own game. I can see Pat's wheels turning now. You can bet he will have a converter soon. And I just gave him back his old 305 ET Streets. Watch out!

He's fun to race. He competative and pretty good at the line! He'd like the converter. We'll probably do 305s and exhaust next spring. We thought we wanted a supercharger but it might be fun to see how far we can take the bolt on theme.

Okay so the season is over at Atco. I missed the last week with my ZL1 at the dealer. They have had it for two weeks trying to fix the Stabilitrac issues. The dash keeps lighting up with warnings. So far they replaced 2 sensors and still no luck. They have GM involved. Sigh. Glad I have a warranty.

I missed one really good night where everyone was getting thier best runs of the season. The other M6 ZL1 finally got into the 11s with just DRs. And the two mostly stock A6 5.0 Mustangs were duking it out in the high 11s. I am sure my ZL1 is capable of that too, I guess I am holding it back.

But the last night was a waste where the humidity and temps were mineshaft but the track prep was crap. In those conditions only the lower powered cars running for PBs. And faster cars were spinning through most of the first half of the track. Looking forward to next spring and more mods.

Oh and one more thing. Pat's tuner buddy is sort of back in business. I expect to see a Paxton next spring under Pat's hood and so no more wins against Pat with the ZL1. I do not plan to tune it unless I keep it a long time.

Sorry to end the thread.

Due to Stabiltrac problems GM bought back the ZL1. Sorry to see it go.

Moving on to a 2016 Camaro SS......

Thank you everyone for your input to this thread and all your views. This was a fun ride. Pat wants me to get an auto SS, they run 11s stock. But I love shifting

If anyone wants to take over this thread with a Ford versus Chevy story its all yours.
