The crop circle shows our solar system, with the planets in the positions they would reside in on the Date of Dec 21, 2012. For whatever reason it is, Pluto's position is off a little bit hinting that something moved small Pluto off of its typical orbit.
They guy(s) who made the crop circle were probably just a little bit off with their diagram. Its kinda tricky to be precise working in the dark of night with a footboard and some rope

Actually I've heard of the Red Dwarf second sun theory too. Because most stars in the universe have twins (binary star systems). It is theorized that because at a relatively regular interval, our planet has a mass extinction event of some sort, that our Sun's twin has an orbit that goes right through the asteroid belt outside our solar system, and when it does, it basically kicks up those rocks and sends some of them into our system, which in turn collide with planets.

Of course, there is no hard proof behind it, but it is an interesting theory

Well either way, nothing (earth shattering) happened so far in 2012.
Let's hope it stays that way.

It's starting to look strange as to why so many billions of people have talked about December 21, 2012, when most folks truly think it's no different than December 31, 1999.

As a reminder, we have a special (non-threat) Annualar solar Eclipse on May 20, 2012.

For some people, they will see the sun and it will appear as a ring. this link shows the areas of the globe where the sun looks like a ring with a large dark circle in the center. Others likely would see the Sun in the shape of a "c" as the dark circle in the middle would end up being offset and not in the center.

http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEgoogl...20Agoogle.html

Perhaps some people will see the sun as a "ring" and not know about the eclipse and then run around saying it's a zombie apocolypse?

A theory doesn't need proof ... but some evidence to support it would be helpful.

Such as mass extinctions actually occurring at regular intervals (which they they don't)

Or the equations that predict the motions of the planets requiring some significant 'adjustment factor' which could be explained by this second sun (they don't)

It makes me sick to think some even believe it.
Furthermore, if there's even a shred of credibility to the crap that's been spewed in this thread, what are we supposed to do about it? There's nothing we can do.

I would be more inclined to believe in the Brown Dwarf Nemesis theory over a crop circle of anything to do with that awful 2012 movie....

I base everything I believe in on crop circles.

Maybe I need new fifth grade science textbooks, but the last time I checked Pluto was no longer a planet and we were down to 8 versus 9.

On that note, what about Nostradamos. I think he has been proven wrong time and time again. Just a bunch of nonsense created by people with nothing better to do. That's exactly why tabloids sell.

Actually Nostradamos gets misquoted a LOT by people just trying to scare others. According to this(http://science.discovery.com/top-ten...ctions-01.html), his "prophecies" end in the year 3797, which people automatically assume means the world ends that date... instead of, ya know, him just running out of ideas or something silly like that...

They do happen at fairly regular intervals. Or at least, a very large impact happens at fairly regular intervals. They can tell by concentrations of irridium embedded in very old rock. For example when the one that made the chicxulub crater (the one they think wiped out the dinosaurs), they can find a layer of irridium embedded in rock dates back that far. The event happens about every 26 million years.

Forget this 2nd sun nonsense, I am looking foward the day when robots become self aware and destroy the world and become overlords to the last survivors! It is said they then enslave the human race in pods where we will live our lives out in a virtual reality while they suck the energy from our bodies to fuel themselves!!!!

Just feel its my responsibility to warn everyone!
