Do you have to take the rear wing off to install the stripes on the trunk? My old stripes that i removed went underneath the wing.

I just started installing my NS-1 stripes and holy crap is it harder then what this diy makes it out to be. To anyone thinking about doing this, you must take it slow and do it in small steps or you will end up having to redo it. Imo the difficulty is 8/10.
