Cold Weather

My 4th gen was pissed when I tried to wake it up this morning and it was -45 F with the wind chill. I can't believe how cold this is but my Z28 still starts like a champ!

Dude!

I could not exist in that kind of weather... I don't even understand that temperature. If ti's below 35 I don't go outside.

Heat I can handle. not cold no way

Cold weather thickens the blood ... that's why Milwaukee makes anti-freeze(beer).

Does anyone know how the Camaro's will do in snow? I'm trading in our Yukon for '10 Camaro, hoping it does ok w/traction control & Stabilitrak.

Well I know it won't do well with summer tires. It'll probably do OK if you buy a set of summer tires and wheels. Tire Rack has some 18" wheel/tire combos that they claim will work for the SS with the Brembos, according to their web site at least. I call in person before ordering first though.

I don't own a Camaro yet, but I plan on ordering one in the future. I'm still torn on deciding whether to buy winter tires/wheels or to buy a 4 post car lift and keep my 4x4 pickup for the winter. The cost will be close to the same if I don't include the recurring costs for the extra vehicle...
