I knew those motors could crack 500rwhp with stock heads, displacement, and no power adder. Good job. How crazy is the cam?

Sweet numbers Matt. Did you baseline the car before modding it?

My guess is that SAE numbers are right at 5% below these due to recent weather conditions in NJ. That would put them at roughly 477whp and 447 ft lbs. Still good numbers. The key to that kind of power in these LS3s is little to no Backpressure. Cutouts are worth there weight in gold. I have seen it time and time again on the dyno wuth these.

Yes SAE was in the 481 range... SAE kills us northeasterners, I would like to get it on the dyno in the spring I can comfortably say 490rwhp SAE. The cam is really not as big as you think. It is in the 23x/24x range. It has great drivability anywhere from 900+RPM. No bucking/surging/hard starts, etc. We tried a lot of different cam designs, some that did not fit, others that did not make power. It took us a lot of R&D on this testbed to get it done! We are also still using the stock 90mm t/b, but we will be adding a set of TTP 4R GMPP-LSX/7 heads and the complimentary intake + 102 t/b at that time!
Believe it or not this car has cutouts and the HP gain was nominal at best with a few ponies... I thought the same thing, but we already have a good flowing custom 3" exhaust + Kooks 1 7/8 so that definitely helps. We have seen 490+ numbers from a lot of different LS3's (Vettes or Camaros) with bigger duration & no intake manifold. However, these are more top HP cars with 4.11 gears that weren't looking for anything down-low. We designed this cam for a pure street customer that uses 3k-6500, not 5-7k! |

Here are the graphs in SAE & UNCORRECTED. The blue run is baseline, brown is cam/kooks/ttp cai/ttp x-pipe + axle back, and the red run is everything + FAST LSXr 102mm with stock t/b. Sorry about the beginning of the brown run I was lazy getting into the throttle so it looks like its a dog, that's just the dyno operator
