I have not really done any long road trips so most all miles are in town.
I get 23-24 mpg on the highway. Coming back from MIchigan I got 24.5 mpg on the OH & PA turnpikes doing 10 over the speed limit.

If anybody needs fuel before the Waffle House, we'll just have to stop.

There is a Sunoco just up the road from this Waffle House.

If we leave with full tanks from Lawn at 7AM SHARP, we would get to Columbus around 12:30PM if we average about 70MPH cruising. If we leave Columbus by 2PM, fed and refueled, that would put us in Indy around 4:30PM cruising again around 70MPH.

Thoughts?
Sounds good to me, but I'd still add a half hour to an hour to that arrival time for the extra gas stop or incidentals.

Good point! It's also my girlfriends birthday that Friday so I'm trying to make it work for her to come along as I'm sure she will have fun!

I'm approaching my parents with the topic tonight...who knows where next year's will be. It's a once in a lifetime thing, possibly.

Update:

My mom is at least extremely against me going by myself, I asked some family but they are a long-shot...my dad kind of laughed and didn't take me seriously.

No one else understands us Camaro people, I don't get it.
