car idles like it has a cam??
Hey there, I had the typical (water elbow) water issue on my 3.8 V6. so I replaced them with aluminum ones, it was not as big of a PITA as people make it seem.
I did the "Free ram air mod" to the air box, and when I started the car, it idled like it had a lopey cam in the motor, to the point where on the brakes it would move the car forward a tiny bit every time it revved up haha so, would the "ram air mod" make this big of a change??? Also, llifter tap/tick, at all rpm's with high oil pressure, bad lifters?? needs a motor?? it has 149,801 miles. or just something that's easy to fix with detergent, and new oil?? |

no vacuum leaks, unless it's a intake manifold gasket, and I didn't touch them, no whistling noises, or sucking sounds, or any of the few other vacuum leak noises
