on September 17th, I would rather go to the maddies hope one, but we were invited by the Northern Kentucky F-Body Association to their Wood Hudson cancer Research Labratory car show.

Location is 2791 Town Center Boulevard, Crestview Hills, KY 41017

Registration is 9 am to noon
judging is noon to 3 pm
Awards are at 4 pm
Top 40 and specialty awards, goody bags and dash plaques. Rain or shine, open to all models, no pets, raffles, door prizes, and a dj

Registration is $15

For info contact wayne at (859)356-1057

The only reason I'm thinking about going is to build a relationship with the NKY F-body association... but I need a break. I've been doing the "stay up until 5:30 am, get up at 8:30" thing for too long.

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

I may do both! How do you like the Eibach springs?

MGW does replace everything... it's pricey though! Did you change yours?

I do like the factory shifter, i don't think its too bad at all. My buddy has a 2011 Mustang GT and it is way longer it seems.

I do like the factory Hurst, but they seem very pricey! I'm waiting for a quote from GMPARTSHOUSE on it.

Jealous. My beater Grand Cherokee only gets like half a tank for $30! It's older so the gas mileage is poo. :( Almost time to bust that darn thing out since before we know it, winter will be here. I don't wanna stow away the Camaro :( Can't complain I guess-- my baby won't see the salty roads, I won't be driving RWD in snow for the first time in 8 years, and the Jeep was free.

B, I completely agree we both need a break, however I think it would be nice if we all went to this!

The F-body seemed like a really great group of people & not to mention a great association. When B and I saw them after autox one day they had an event that we stopped by and they seemed like a start-up club as they didn't have too many people involved at the show, maybe 25 or so. It would be good for us to support them as when we officially launch TSGMP they may support us if we help them out. Just a thought!!!

I think we could all spare $15 to help another car club out which would in turn help us!!

Touch call. I think it depends on what your goal is for each and what you use your car for. For example, I wanted the short throw shifter along with other mods, but I'm holding off to stay in class for autox. I got the drop springs instead which I've yet to put on (due to my lack of time to breath) because that will be better for racing and handling and not to mention everyday driving.

I definitely think they are both a great option, but like I said it depends on what you want them for!

I bought a Hurst shifter and installed it.. I like it. It will have more "buzzing" than the "GM hurst" shifter. I talked with AL Op. about it a year ago. That is why the shifters where delayed when the camaro first came out, GM didn't like the buzz they were getting out of the shifter.

The ratio is the same between the two Hurst shifter though.

I think replacing the whole thing that the MGW does is a waste of money... that is my opinion though... a lot more work involved as well.

Ideally you might try the MGW, Hurst or other shifters before you make a purchase. I have an MGW shifter that you could try at Mid Ohio if we have the opportunity.

Installation does take longer but I don't think it is too bad. I installed my own and helped install MGW shifters for 1 RD JEWL, SilverIceman and OldSchoolCamaro. I do have a lift which helps significantly.
